The glue should be stored in the refrigerator prior to opening. It is in the interests of sellers as well, in order for the glue to retain its qualities as long as possible during storage.
Please pay close attention to the original packaging of the glue. The manufacture date must be indicated on the package, in such a place, that it would be impossible to change, re-stick or remove it. Since the glue has a shelf life of only 6 months, some sellers may try to trick you to sell stale inventory. Here we can see that the manufacture date inscription is applied onto the package box and is under the original film, which excludes the possibility of changing the inscription.
Inside the box you will find a manual in English language, a needle for punching a glued nose, and a removable nose. On the bottle itself there is a place for indicating the opening date. The manual describes the details of the application and storage of the glue.
After opening the bottle, the shelf life is 2 months. Do not forget to write down the opening date on the bottle. This period can be plus/minus 2-3 weeks, depending on how often you open the glue and how you store it.
If you work with glue almost on a daily basis, it is best to store it in a special thermal pack. If you put silica gel inside the thermal pack, it absorbs moisture, which is very important, since the glue begins to harden not from the contact with the air, but from moisture and alkali. Make sure to try this little life-hack with silica gel, as it really works. 👌
